Exploring Magnets and the Future of Surgery

Join us on October 16–17 for an in-depth exploration of the novelty of magnetic bowel anastomosis, a revolutionary technique that replaces traditional suturing and stapling with sophisticated self-forming magnets. This course will feature pioneering studies conducted both internationally and in the U.S., as well as hands-on showcases and live procedural broadcasts, offering attendees an exclusive look into the next wave of surgical advancements.

Perspectives in Bariatric, Colorectal, Thoracic, and Acute Surgery will be explored.

We will also discuss and present the current state-of-the-art status on bowel anastomosis in all surgical fields, adding knowledge to our audience as well as new surgical concepts, including robotic single-port surgery.

The hands-on showcase will feature three stations: one endoscopic, one laparoscopic, and one robotic.

We expect participants to rotate through these stations. This is the very first time this technology will be showcased in this manner.
